Lauren Garza
Lauren Garza is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Health Science. She has been working with children, teens, and youth with disabilities for over eight years. Lauren's academic strengths are in science, math and language arts. She is an excellent tutor because she is patient, and has great communication skills. Lauren also is persistent, easily understood by children and loves education.
Charles Dang is a senior Geology major at Cal Poly. He is very strong in physical sciences (Chemistry and Physics) as well as environmental sciences. Charles also loves tutoring math. He is fascinated with helping his students grow academically and personally. Charles other interest is music as he currently plays guitar in his band.

Courtney Lund is an adjunct professosr at Azusa Pacific University and an MFA graduate of UCR in Creative Writing. Her undergraduate work was done at UCSB in Global Studies. Courtney loves tutoring reading and writing primarily but is very confident working with most subject matter areas. She loves helping students reach their full potential.
Forrest Fulgenzi is a Computational Neuroscience and Economics (double major) at Pitzer College. He enjoys everything from the sciences to the humanities. Forrest spent the past year working with Americorps developing an early education curriculum for Jumpstart. He believes in helping others learn and acquire new knowledge and loves the opportunity to make an impact in a young person's life.

Abril Casillas is a senior Sociology major at the University of La Verne. She is bilingual and has considerable tutoring experience. Abril loves tutoring Math especially integrated Math and Language Arts. She enjoys developing trust with her clients and helping them thrive in the classroom.
Cassi Summers is a Psychology major at Cal Poly. She enjoys problem solving, listening, creativity and is committed to learning. Cassi enjoys working with elementary and Jr. High students helping them with Math and Language Arts. She gives her clients confidence in the subjects where they struggle by helping them think about concepts in different ways.

Alice Lu is a a senior Psychology major at Cal Poly and is president of the Psychology honors club. She has a lot of experience in reading, writing and the application of critical thinking. Alice has written numerous literature reviews. Alice worked at the Brighter Future Learning Center in San Jose. She believes any ssubject can be learned even mastered as long as her students know what works effectively for them.
Josh Grasmick is a graduate of Cal State Long Beach and is a Math Teacher at Los Osos High School. He is an outstanding tutor/teacher of both Math and Language Arts because he can motivate students to reach their academic potential. He also helps students prepare for the SAT and the ACT. Josh loves sports especially soccer and Nebraska football.

Vanessa Perry is finishing her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling and Administration at East Carolina University. She has worked as a special needs counselor, nanny, mental health counselor and university instructor. Her strengths are Language Arts, Social Studies, and Spanish. She enjoys interacting with her students helping them to do their very best at school.

She has worked with Title 1 schools developing curriculum and has also tutored students at Scripps. She is also a research assistant at Western Univ. of Health Sciences. Annie is truly inspirational tutoring students with difficult problems or concepts. She believes that is one of the most rewarding experiences.
